The Rainbow Heroes Project consists of a series of nine interactive, pedestrian-level murals that will be installed throughout the City of Long Beach, CA.

Remembering our Heroes, our ancestors, our pioneers, we are also honoring the Flag they celebrated. For forty years, (1938 – 1978) the only symbol we had was the demonic tragedy of the pink triangle. The Rainbow Flag, created by Gilbert Baker, debuted at San Franciso Pride, June 25, 1978.
